CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A new security policy takes effect at tonight's Calallen high school football game.
The district's clear bag policy kicks in tonight as the Wildcats host Floresville in a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
The district says the intent is to improve district safety and security for spectators.
As of today, any bag brought to any Calallen high school athletic event must be clear.
The only exceptions are for bags with medically necessary items or diaper bags when a child is present.
