CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — H-E-B's app crashed due to a high volume of Texans trying to win a lifetime supply of free groceries.
H-E-B received numerous messages on their Twitter about the app crashing. They responded promptly, urging users to try again later.
"We are truly grateful for the thousands of Texans who are participating in this opportunity of groceries for a lifetime. While there were a few participants reaching out for assistance, the sweepstakes entry deadline is Feb. 16th," H-E-B representative Regina Garcia told us.
Hi, Stephanie. A lot of Texans are trying to use the app right now. Hold tight and we'll have your app back up and working. You can enter until 2/16, so there's no hurry. Please check back later.

We haven't received any updates about when the app will be good to go again, but H-E-B says people can still enter through Feb. 16.
H-E-B aired an advertisement on Feb. 2 about giving away a a lifetime supply of groceries to one lucky Texan.
