CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There was a big coaching move today here in the Coastal Bend as long-time Ray head basketball coach Brandon Bourg has accepted the same position at Flour Bluff.
The official announcement came this afternoon.
This is a huge hire because Bourg enjoyed tremendous success during his four seasons at ray including a district championship this past season.
He takes over for Jamie Boswell who left the Bluff to become the assistant athletic director at Alice.
So congrats to Flour Bluff, who hired a great coach and person today.
