MISSION, Texas — Border Patrol agents from the McAllen Border Patrol Station arrested a previously convicted rapist attempting to illegally enter the country Friday morning.
Border Patrol Agents, working near Mission, TX, apprehended a group of five people who illegally entered the United States.
The agents performed criminal record checks, which revealed one of the subjects was a Honduran national who was arrested in 2019 for second degree rape by the Suffolk County Police Department in the State of New York.
The man was convicted of the crime and removed from the country by immigration officials last year.
Border Patrol processed the man accordingly.
