CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Local attorney Bill Edwards was presented the President’s Award of Merit by the State Bar of Texas for his 60 years of leadership in law and legal ethics.
Edwards was the only recipient in the state this year at the bar's 80th assembly.
Edwards is the founder and senior partner of The Edwards Law Firm. He’s been on Texas Supreme Court committees, served as past president for the Texas Trial Lawyers and has been certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
He continues to work with the Texas legislature to improve personal injury laws.
