CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Lots of people came-out today to show their support for the family of a young woman who died in a wreck recently.

20-year-old Brianna Cruz died in a crash at the intersection of the crosstown expressway and Horne road earlier this week.

Her fiance, 22-year-old William Park and her two kids were also in the car and got hurt.

Friends and family held a benefit today at "The Dawg House Bar and Grill" on Kostoryz to help out her family.

Cruz's childhood friend, who hosted today's benefit, says the wreck still haunts her.

"And to this day I still cry every night and look at our pictures," said Brianna Ramirez, childhood friend of the victim and organizer of the event. "That's all I can do is just look at our pictures and the videos and there's nothing I can do, just look at all of our memories together."

Family members tell us that Park is now out of the hospital.

Cruz's one-year-old son, who got some cuts on his face in the wreck, will get out of the hospital in a few days.

His two-year old brother, who had to have surgery for a broken eye socket, will stay in the hospital for awhile.

We're also told that Cruz was laid to rest today.
