CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Part of the Arts Alive Festival, many participated in the run for arts and drafts.
This is the 1/2k By the Bay Beer Run.
The goal of this run was for people to finish half a kilometer as fast as they can while keeping their beer above the specified line on their cup.
Folks who took part in this event say taking these fast steps, you have to get creative.
"Taking part in beer run and seeing friends too looking how everybody has fun with this that's a big part of it," Patty Beasley says, "It's just a neat thing to do it's fun everybody is having a great time and their really good costumes out here too."
Proceeds of all these different events with Arts Alive! will benefit the Art Center.
