NORMANNA, Texas — A suspect was taken into custody by Bee County Deputies after an overnight standoff in Normanna that took approximately four hours.

Bee County Deputies say an overnight standoff ended around 2 a.m Tuesday. The incident began about 10 p.m. deputies responded to a call about a person with a weapon.

Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted Bee County before the suspect was taken into custody. The name of the individual has not been released and the investigation remains active.
