Banquete Independent School District announced Sunday afternoon that employees on BISD campuses tested positive for COVID-19 and were present on the campuses the week of Nov. 30.
Due to these positive cases, BISD will switch to remote learning for all campuses starting Monday Dec. 7. Campuses will be cleaned and disinfected, and students are expected to return back for face-to-face learning on Monday Dec. 14.
No athletics will happen until Dec. 9 with a negative COVID-19 test
