CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Authorities are investigating the death of man who was found out near Chapman Ranch.
Nueces County Sheriff J.C. Hooper says a worker was cutting grass last Wednesday at County Road 51 and County Road 6 when he discovered the body of 40-year old Jaydee Rodriguez.
Corpus Christi police say Rodriguez was reported missing on July 21.
The Nueces County Medical Examiner says Rodriguez died from a gunshot wound to the head.
The sheriff's office, the Texas Rangers and the Corpus Christi Police Department all are involved in the investigation.
