CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a tough day at school for some HAAS middle school students.
The air conditioner wasn't working on some parts of campus.
A CCISD spokesperson says repairs were expected to be done by 9 this morning.
When that didn't happen, the school notified parents that they could pick up their children.
However, some parents claim they were not told about the issue.
The district says it used its automated phone system to let them know.
We got word Monday night that the AC is back on at HAAS and school officials thank families for their patience.
