CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 25-year-old North Carolina man remains in jail in Corpus Christi after being arrested for his role in a fatal shooting and fire in Emerald Isle, N.C.
Patrick Keith-Reich Whitley of Havelock, N.C., was taken into custody here by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Service and the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Whitley surrendered without incident, police told Greenville, N.C. television station WNCT.
Whitley remains in Nueces County Jail without bond as he awaits extradition back to North Carolina to face first-degree arson and murder charges in connection with the deal of Carl Eugene Jones Jr.
