Multiple agencies are joining the search for a missing teen who hasn’t been seen since Friday.
Corpus Christi Police and K-9 units, along with a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew, U.S. Navy personnel and Nueces County law enforcement were out today searching and are near the Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve, the last known location of 18-year-old Brandon Rios.
Rios’ mother says she last spoke to her son at their home in the Terra Mar subdivision near Ella Barnes Elementary School at 7 a.m. May 3. He was scheduled to work that evening at the Century 16 Movie Theater, but never arrived for his shift.
Rios’ car, car keys, and wallet containing ID and credit cards were all still at his parent’s home, where he left them on Friday.
The Corpus Christi Police Department tells KRIS 6 News Rios was reported missing on Saturday.
Anyone with information regarding Rios’ whereabouts is asked to call CCPD at (361) 886-2600 or contact Rios’ mother, Teri at tm88@grandecom.net .
