Shortly after Hurricane Mitch hit Honduras in 1998, a South Texas Rotary Club started a program aimed at bringing aid to the storm-ravaged nation.
Hands to Honduras has brought schools and water as well as waste water treatment to Trujillo, a city in Honduras.
The project is funded by primarily by Port Isabel Rotary Club as well as Rotary International and the Southside Rotary here Corpus Christi.
Today, members got an update on how the project is coming along, were told the project has expanded to training teachers for the classroom.
