The coolest and most awesome beach event is gearing up for 2019. If you love sand castles, then Texas SandFest is the best place in the world to see some of the best sculptors ever! Master sculptors from all over the world go to Port Aransas, Texas to make pure magic.

The event takes place from 9am to 7pm each day on the weekend of April 26 – 28, 2019.

Wristbands will be available at the entrance gates during SandFest and are good for all 3 days of SandFest. Wristbands are not available for purchase in advance.

SandFest takes place on the beach between mile markers 9 and 13.
The north entrance to SandFest is on the beach at Sandcastle Drive (~marker 8). The south entrance is near Beach Access Road 1A (~marker 18).

Bron’s Beach carts will be providing free beach cart shuttle service to take people to and from the end of Sandcastle Drive and Beach Access Road 1A to the SandFest entrance gates.

Talk about Getting Dirty and Playing in the Sand, even amateurs can get involved at Texas SandFest. The Amateur Competition will be held on Saturday, April 27th, but registration is online only and ends April 24th. For information about the Amateur Competition, go this this link on the official event page: https://www.texassandfest.org/amateur-competition-registration/

We are so excited about Texas SandFest 2019. This will mark the 18th year that Get Dirty Play In The Sand has attended and our 14th year as a vendor at the event. Make sure and find us on the beach in our booth at the event and remember to Get Dirty Play In The Sand! We have the coolest t-shirt on the beach. 🙂

SandFest will also have tons of other great vendors on the beach selling all kinds of things you can’t live without. Make sure and get to the beach early, because parking fills up quickly and the road gets packed. You can check the TexasSandFest.org website to see shuttle bus pick-up and drop-off locations.
