Coastal Bend residents today paid final respects to a local veteran who had no family to attend his funeral.
Funeral services were held today for U.S. Army Spc. William Robert Nagel at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
Nagel served in the Army from 1966 to 1968.
The Patriot Guard Riders were on hand to act as pall bearers and provide a flag line.
Nagel was burred with full military honors.
