Back in November, KRIS 6 reported how one man lost everything in an apartment fire.
He also claimed to have served in the United States Marine Corps.
Cody Horvath also claimed that he fought in the Gulf War.
However, a concerned viewer saw this story and shared how his military service was all a lie.
Court documents share that this information was fraudulent. Horvath told the lie years ago and our KRIS 6 news team did some digging and court papers share that has never enlisted in the United States military.
This has caused outrage and anger for many people.
We’ll hear from representatives of Burn Pits 360 who helped Horvath to get back on his feet.
We also visited Horvath at his new apartment unit and he was confronted about whether he’s ever served in our military.
