Annual fish fry events are underway at St. Andrew by the Sea Family Life Center.
Located on 14238 Encantada off Park Road 22, the beautiful outdoor church has an indoor facility where there will be fried fish galore.
Plates will be served from 5 pm to 7 pm every Friday evening until April 12th and all funds raised will be in support of the St. Andrews by the Sea chapter of the Knights of Columbus’ many charitable works.
Plates will come with three fish and sides. Sr. Knight Ray Salinas, nicknamed Mr. Fish Fry, told us a little bit about the dine-in or take-out menu.
“it’s tilapia, we use our special seasoning and we bread it well. Then we have our golden fries; they come out real crisp.” Mr. Fish Fry told us, “Then we have the green beans that we season just right for the taste, and our coleslaw – we made it this morning – so right now it’s in the refrigerator getting all those flavors and juices altogether.”
Monsignor Michael Howell and Sr. Knight Ray Salinas, nicknamed Mr. Fish Fry, also want you to know that their outdoor facility has been closed for repairs but those repairs have been completed and they plan on celebrating outdoor mass again next weekend.
