Vandals broke into Martin Middle School and caused more than $20,000 in damage.
Corpus Christi police believe a group of juveniles broke into the school on the 3500 block of Greenwood Drive either last night or sometime this morning.
They broke into the school’s choir room and stole laptops. They also damaged musical equipment and smashed everything inside the room.
Detective are preparing to ask the district for access to its surveillance camera system to review who broke into the school.
