A man was shot by police in Portland this evening.
It happened shortly before 6 p.m. Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1,000 block of Memorial Parkway. Police say they confronted a man who was armed with two knives. One of the officers shot him.
The victim was brought to a Corpus Christi hospital. There’s no work on his condition. Police say a woman at the scene was injured. It is unknown why she was hurt and there’s no word on her current condition.
The officer involved in the shooting has been placed on administrative leave while the shooting is investigated.
