Warrant issued for murder suspect

A warrant has been issued for Derek Parra, a suspect in a recent murder case.

Parra is described as a 39-year-old male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 160 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes. Police released a video of the suspect earlier this week.

The warrant was issued after a murder on Sunday, March 3rd on the 4700 block of Ayers St.

Detectives from the Corpus Christi Police Department are asking for assistance locating Parra. Any information regarding the murder or Parra’s current location should be immediately reported to Crime Stoppers at (361) 888-8477 or online at http://www.888tips.com.
