The 2019-2020 Coastal Bend Aging and Disability Resource Directory is here.
This morning, the Area Agency of Aging of the Coastal Bend announced the new directory has arrived.
Its’ been updated and has information for seniors on where they can go for medicare and medicaid information.
The directory also has information for services offered for those who are disabled or suffer from autism, Alzheimer’s and dementia.
The directory is published every two years. This allows the agency to update new services offered in our community and remove the agencies that no longer exist.
The Director of the Area Agency of Aging of the Coastal Bend Viola Monrreal said lots of people have been asking about the new directory.
“It started out as an aging directory and merged in 2005 with the disabilities community. Then, it became the aging and disability resource directory. Today, it’s the newest publication that’s come out. People have been waiting for it for awhile and today, we’re able to distribute it,” Monrreal said.
If you’d like a copy of the directory mailed to you, call the Area Agency of Aging of the Coastal Bend at 361-883-3935. If you need more than one copy, call them to pick up as many bundles as you like.
