Plus-size clothing store Torrid scheduled for spring opening at La Palmera

Known for its trendy plus-size fashion for women and teen girls, a new 3,000-square-foot Torrid store will open soon in La Palmera Mall.

Though signs have already been seen in the mall, La Palmera made the announcement official on Tuesday.

“Torrid will be our next new tenant to open as part of our ongoing mall redevelopment,” said Fred Walters, vice president and general manager of La Palmera. “They will join Dave & Buster’s in the block of recently renovated space adjacent to La Palmera’s main entrance. We have a lot more planned for the mall moving forward and hope to have other announcements in the near future.”

The store will feature versatile trends designed for size 10-30, including tops, jackets, jeans, dresses, undergarments, lingerie and fashion footwear.

Construction has already begun with opening scheduled for early spring.
