Construction along Cimarron Blvd. creates backups for several blocks.
Residents of nearby side streets say they are dealing with cars speeding through their neighborhood, trying to avoid congested wastewater pipe construction and that is raising a lot of concern.
Kenneth Mills has lived in this neighborhood for about ten years.
Mills says these drivers are not thinking about the children who play outside the nearby park or for residents that want to go outside and walk their pets
“No it’s not worth them I mean somebody speeding down this street and somebody’s kid darts out into the road you have the park basketball playing out in the yard anything and these people are just flying down the street and they’re not going to have time to react,” Mills said.
