Four years after his death, Alex Torres’ family is understandably upset after the second trial against David Davila ended in another mistrial.

But they say they’re not giving up and want those responsible to go to prison. They have that with Christina Trevino, the getaway driver who pleaded guilty last October.

The family learned on Wednesday that Davila’s retrial ended in another mistrial. Now, they will have to relive Alex’s death all over again in a third trial.

But they say they’ll keep testifying for as long as it takes.

“I know that God will prevail for us,” Donaldo Gutierrez said. “It’s a test that we’re going through. And deep in my heart, I know he will prevail for us.”

The family tells us the case is expected to be tried again in April.
