Kane Beef Processing has filed for bankruptcy.
A statement from the company says they filed Chapter 11 to “facilitate the on-going sales process of the assets of Sam Kane Beef Processing, LLC, and to assure the fair treatment of our creditors and employers.”
The Company has hired Okin Adams LLP as legal counsel, The Claro Group as financial advisor, and Gordian Group as investment banker.
Kane is one of the largest employers in the Corpus Christi area.
