A decades-old part of the Corpus Christi skyline has been sold.
The 600 Building on Leopard Street and North Upper Broadway was recently purchased by a New Orleans firm and is set to be converted into a 22-floor apartment complex.
Architect/Developer Marcel Wiznia grew up in Corpus Christi and has completed several conversion projects in the New Orleans area since Hurricane Katrina made landfall there in 2005.
Work on the project should begin in a few months.
