A fight involving as many as 20 people escalated into a stabbing at a local pizza place on Friday.
According to Corpus Christi Police, the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Peter Piper Pizza on Port Avenue.
Police were called to the scene, but before they could arrive, everyone involved in the fight had left.
While investigating, officers learned that a 28-year-old man had been stabbed in the chest. Police say his injuries were non-life threatening.
Police know the identity of the suspect and are currently looking for him. He faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
