H-E-B today donated a truck load of yams to the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
According to H-E-B, sweet potatoes are a popular item during the holidays, and this donation will help families across the Coastal Bend enjoy a traditional holiday meal.
The Texas-based grocery chain made similar donations across the state today, donating 1.2 million sweet potatoes to 17 food banks.
