The Texas State Aquarium will host Dollar Day on Sunday, allowing visitors to experience everything the aquarium has to offer for just a $1.

Presented by Whataburger, Dollar Day will run from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Dec. 2.

For just $1 admission, Dollar Day guests can take in all of the Aquarium’s exhibits and a show at the Whataburger 4-Dimension Theater, bringing the audience into the action of the movie with 3D visuals in combination with snow, wind, water, jolts, pokes, and other immersive effects.

On Dollar Day, the Whataburger 4-Dimension Theater will feature continuous screenings of “The Polar Express 4-D Experience.”

“Whataburger is excited to partner with the Texas State Aquarium to provide an educational opportunity for families,” said John Dolan, Whataburger’s regional director of operations. “The holiday season is a wonderful time to make memories with loved ones, and we look forward to hearing about the unique and special moments that take place during Dollar Day this year.”

Admission is free for children 2 and under, and parking is included with admission.

Because of increased attendance on Dollar Day, the aquarium says regular presentations and visitor programs will not be provided.
