First responders were called out to a Southside convenience store after a pickup truck slammed into a gas pump station.
The incident happened at a corner store located near Everhart and Holly Road.
Police say the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses told KRIS 6 News a white truck slammed into the gas pumps and caused damage to the canopy at the business.
HAZ-MAT crews were also called out to the scene after hearing reports of fuel leaking from the gas pumps.
A woman who was driving the pickup truck was taken to the hospital along with a passenger inside the truck.
Police say both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Convenience store employees are still assessing the damage caused by the pickup truck. No word if anyone could face charges.
