A local woman has become a Facebook celebrity of sorts after someone posted a video of her swiping a decorative wreath from someone’s home.
Brenda Munguia Olivares said at 3 a.m. Friday, someone stole her Fall wreath from her home on the 3600 block of Tripoli Drive. When she realized her home security system had images of the thief, she decided to post those images on Facebook.
Since Friday, her post has generated 4,515 shares as of Monday afternoon.
Olivares has filed a report with the Corpus Christi Police Department. CCPD’s Public Information Officer Lt. Michael Pena said a detective is being assigned to this case.
