A Hurricane Warning has been issued for the Alabama/Florida border as the storm moves northwest at 12mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Hurricane Michael is a Category 2 storm and is expected to strengthen before making landfall as a major hurricane on the Florida/Alabama border.
