Mice have been a problem at this building complex for years, and after heavy rains back in June, there have been increased sightings of mice in the AMC theater.
On September 21, a couple went to the AMC theater to watch a movie. They spotted mice crawling on the floor and shot video of these same mice under their seats.
The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Health Department got involved after the video surfaced.
After trapping more than 40 mice last week, the decision was made to shut down the theater temporarily.
AMC theater management is working on eliminating the mice, and this recent walk through was conducted to see how successful they have been.
