Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department are out searching for two men they believe broke into several vehicles at the Coastal Haven Apartments.
Officers got a call for suspicious people in the parking lot of the apartment complex on the 4700 block of Middlecoff. They were only described as two men. When officers arrived, they found at least eight cars had been broken into.
Seven of those cars had their windows smashed in, according to officers with the CCPD. It appears as if one car was left unlocked. Doors to the cars in question could be seen left open at the scene.
Officers are currently trying to get in touch with the owners of the cars. Criminal investigators have been called to the scene to process any evidence.
