Gary Carroll is familiar with seeing snakes around his Flour Bluff home.
But Carroll was surprised recently with the biggest snake he has ever discovered during his 40-plus year tenure as a resident on Mediterranean Avenue.
Carroll said he sees about one snake a year at his home. But this 35-inch coral snake was the biggest he had seen by almost a foot, he said.
