A man is recovering in the hospital after being struck by a car while crossing the street.
The man was walking across the 5400 block of Leopard Street when a van hit the man, according to officers on scene.
It was raining at the time of the accident which may have limited visibility, officers said. The man was wearing dark clothing and not in a crosswalk at the time.
The accident is under investigation at this time. Officers say the man’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
