A local man was in Jacksonville, Fla., when a shooting happened during a gaming tournament. Now back home, he’s talking about his terrifying experience.

Ryen doesn’t want his last name used or his face shown but says he’s still affected. As dozens of people played a game of Madden, he claims the gunman lost and became angry and started shooting.

Ryen says he heard about 25-30 shots and hid in a nearby bathroom.

“All I heard was crying,” Ryen said. “(Someone) was saying ‘I’m shot, I need help!’ When I got out of the restroom, I saw like three bodies on the floor dead, like unconscious.”

Two of Ryen’s friends were killed and another one was shot, he said.
