CORPUS CHRISTI – If you live or drive near Gloria Hicks Elementary, we have some traffic changes to tell you about.
Construction on Carroll Lane has been ongoing, and today, Friday, August 24, Carroll Lane one-way traffic will switch to the opposite direction, from southbound to northbound, between McArdle Road and Gollihar Road.
Traffic will also switch to the newly constructed roadway during this time.
The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone and follow detour signs. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area.
Access to local driveways will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
