For 68 years, Whataburger has served great food to its customers, one order at a time.
How did this restaurant get its name? Customers at the time needed to hold the burgers with two hands, making this What-A-Burger.
Harmon Dobson started Whataburger with a single roadside stand in Corpus Christi in 1950.
Back then, you could get a burger for just 35 cents and shakes for 15 cents. The original location was a small wooden shack on Ayers Street right across Del Mar College.
Now they have more than 820 restaurants in ten states.
