The Corpus Christi Police Department Dive Team is searching a ditch in an area near Rodd Field and Wooldridge.
The dive team began searching a ditch in the area just after 9:00 a.m. Officer Travis Pace with the CCPD said while chasing robbery suspects last night, officers fell while going down the embankment of the ditch and lost a flashlight, a taser and two body cameras. The dive team was able to recover all of the equipment.
Officers were hoping to find additional evidence pertaining to the robbery incident but did not find anything.
