CORPUS CHRISTI – Three men were sent to the hospital after they got involved in a large brawl.
The fight happened in the 800 block of Bloomington Street on the city’s Westside around 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Lt. Philip Bintliff, with the Corpus Christi Police Department, says two victims saw a post from a random person on social media trying to sell items. “When they were here trying to purchase that item, they were jumped by multiple subjects. They went inside and a fight ensued and multiple subjects were assaulted,” Lt. Bintliff continued.
Witnesses in the area saw the brawl and called the police. When officers arrived, they found one suspect injured and two victims who were stabbed in the home’s driveway.
Police arrested one man at the home and said he was charged with aggravated robbery. Another suspect was transported to the hospital.
Police say the two victims had stab wounds and both were transported in critical condition. Police say both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.
