One person is in the hospital after being shot multiple times overnight.
The shooting happened on Morris and 14th Street around 11:30 p.m. last night. The victim and his brother were sitting outside when a man walked up and fired four shots and the two, according to officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Bullets hit one of the men three times and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Police also believe the suspect was involved in another crime earlier in the day.
“We definitely have a dangerous subject in this neighborhood right now,’ Lt. Jay Clement with the CCPD said. “He’s already committed one theft and one shooting, he’s still considered armed. So, at this point we do have units canvassing the area, hoping to try and locate him.”
