ORANGE GROVE, Texas — According to Alice Echo-News, a 13-year-old girl and her mother have been detained after officers arrived at a home in Orange Grove and found a man in his 40's dead.
Officers arrived at the home on 800 block of County Rd 306 in Orange Grove around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Witnesses told deputies some neighbors had been arguing and soon after, they heard at least one gun shot. The 13-year-old has been charged with murder and her mother has been charged with making a firearm accessible to a minor.
