Habitat for Humanity Corpus Christi raised the wall for their 55th affordable housing unit this morning.
Volunteers and donors gathered at a construction site on Chula Vista Drive for a brief ceremony before raising the structure.
The milestone means a local family is one step closer to having a place to call home.
It is also the 3rd home under construction in the community right now by the nonprofit organization.
