Comedian, actor, director, and producer Adam Sandler will make a return to his old stomping grounds at Saturday Night Live, hosting for the first time in May.

Other than a few cameo appearances, studio 8H hasn’t seen Sandler since he was fired from the show in 1995 after being on the show for over 5 years.
“We are happy to welcome Adam back to ‘SNL’ in what is sure to be a special night,” said executive producer Lorne Michaels in a statement.
He is sharing the night with musical guest Shawn Mendes on May 4th.
