CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County Clerk Kara Sands wants to clear up some confusion about mail-in ballots.

Sands tells us her office has seen a big spike in the number of people who are hand delivering their mail-in ballots.

She says many people are under the impression that they have to deliver those ballots in person.

Sands believes the confusion may be due to reports of mail-in ballots being lost or thrown in the trash in other parts of the country.
