CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Gov. Greg Abbott says he will wait for all ballot recounts before acknowledging a winner in the recent presidential race.

Abbott’s remarks came in an interview with Dallas-Fort Worth affiliate KXAS.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced on Wednesday that he is offering a $1 million reward to anyone reporting voter fraud to law enforcement agencies.

Abbott says he supports Patrick's decision.

"Voter fraud does exist,” Patrick said. “There have been allegations made under affidavit under oath under penalty of perjury about allegations of voter fraud in other states like what we have seen in the state of Texas.”

The governor also cited one case of voter fraud in Limestone County outside of Waco.
