Douglas Myers hired as senior vice president, CFO at Driscoll Health System

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Douglas Myers has been named as the new senior vice president and chief financial officer for Driscoll Health System.

Myers will be responsible for all financial aspects of the hospital and Driscoll Health Plan. He will help monitor and implement strategic business plans, as well as develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the system's strategic direction.

He joins Driscoll from ABLM, Inc., in Phoenix, where he was chief executive officer and president. He has served as chief financial officer for several institutions, including Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and the Children’s National Health System.

Myers is a 2015 graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Myers received his MBA from Loyola College in 1990 and his BBA in Accounting from Youngstown State University in 1983. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1985.

Myers is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
