ALICE, Texas — The City of Alice has announced a stay-at-home curfew that starts at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday and will stretch in early morning hours until 11:59 p.m. on Friday night.
A Facebook post from the city indicates the curfew will be in effect from 11:59 p.m. and continue until 5 a.m. on those days. During that time, only essential personnel – including medical and government personnel, first responders and persons traveling to and from businesses - will be allowed to be out on the streets during that time.
Violators can be arrested and fined up to $1,000.
